Be the Hands and Feet of Christ to help fight food insecurity

Help fight food insecurity and join other Epiphany parishioners on Saturday, March 7, from 9 am to 11 am for a food packing event. This is a fun activity for the entire family. This event is open to anyone age 5 and above. A parent or another responsible adult should accompany any minors under 16.
Details about the event:
What will you do: Volunteers will help sort and/or pack bulk food items into family-sized bags. Most volunteer roles do not involve heavy lifting. There will be many jobs that require varying levels of activity, including putting labels on bags, scooping ingredients into bags, sealing bags, running bags between stations, and boxing the completed bags. There are jobs that require no standing.
What to wear: comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes
When to arrive: 8:40 am – 8:50 am on March 7 to allow time for everyone to sign in before 9:00 am
Location: Midwest Food Bank – Bloomington/Normal is located at 2031 Warehouse Road in Normal.
