Join us at Midwest Food Bank

Midwest Food Bank warehouse

The Epiphany Faith and Works Ministry is sponsoring a food packing event at Midwest Food Bank on Thursday June 6, 6pm - 8pm. Your investment of time will be helping to provide food for those in need.

This is a fun activity for the entire family.  This event is open to anyone aged 5 and above.  Any minors under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.

Volunteers will help sort and/or pack bulk food items into family-sized bags.  Most volunteer roles do not involve heavy lifting.  There will be many different jobs that require different levels of activity from sitting down to put labels on bags, scooping ingredients into bags, sealing bags, running bags between stations, and boxing the bags.

Midwest Food Bank is located at 2031 Warehouse Road in Normal.

Please arrive at 5:45 pm to sign in. The attire should include comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Everyone attending, including children, will need to register for this event at the Midwest Food Bank Volunteer site using the button below.

If you have any questions, please contact Joe Morrow at 309-824-2193 or Pat Luber at 309-838- 7691 or plluber@aol.com..
