Spring service event at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry

 “For I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. Whatever you do for the least of my people, you do for me.”

SVdP

Spring is the perfect time to spread warmth to those in need in our community. We have an opportunity for volunteers to assemble food bags for the St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Food Pantry on Wed., May 6, from 6-8 p.m. Our assembled food bags will be distributed to hundreds of local people who count on SVdP for groceries and other items.

 

Details

  • Volunteers are capped at 15 people.

  • Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

  • SVdP is located at 705 Roosevelt Ave. in Bloomington.

  • When volunteering, plan to arrive at 5:50 p.m. to sign in.

  • SVdP doors will be locked around 6:10 p.m. To enter SVdP after that, you must make prior arrangements for late entry.
