Totus Tuus is a Latin phrase that means “totally yours,” a motto given to us by the Pope Saint John Paul II in describing his dedication to Jesus through Mary. For one week during the summer, we provide Catholic children in grades 1-12 a prayer-filled environment that will help them come closer to Christ through His Mother, Mary.

In 2019, Totus Tuus will dive deep into The Sacraments. Our creative and enthusiastic team will also help youth come to know and devote themselves to Mary, Our Mother, as they study and pray the Sorrowful Mysteries.

Our Goal

The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people develop their relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to become saints!  Totus Tuus strives to help young people to know and love their faith so that they may live it in today’s world.  We do this in such a way that it is fun and formative for both teachers and youth alike.

The program calls upon college students and seminarians from across the United States to carry out this mission. Those hired are trained and put onto teams of four (two men and two women) to go out into a parish for a week, putting on a "parish mission" in order to teach the faith and inspire the young. A Totus Tuus teacher helps to make the faith real to the youth as a way of life and love and not simply a set of rules and obligations, while growing in his or her own life of discipleship.
